TKG is delighted to welcome social and cultural anthropologist and PhD in Afghan classical music Mr. J érôme LOUIS to RKK FM.

After following a BA in Story of Art at the Toulouse-Le Mirail University and his graduate studies in Paris, Mr. Louis started his PhD field research in India under the topic of the violin and its influence on Indian classical music and theory.

From India, Mr. Louis travelled to Afghanistan in 2001 to extend his research to the study of the living Afghan classical music tradition and its contribution to the identity of North Indian classical music.
